You will get my opinion when you ask for it, and not a minute earlier. The useful part of an hour is almost always the question you had not thought to ask yourself.
About Brightline
A solo practice, on purpose.
Brightline Coaching is one coach with a full calendar and no associates. When you book here, you get the same person every session, who remembers what you said in week two without checking a file.
Before this I spent fifteen years inside companies, most of it managing people who were better at their own jobs than I would ever be. That is where the whole practice came from. The people who moved fastest were rarely the ones with the most advice. They were the ones with somebody honest to think out loud with.

One outcome at a time
We write down the thing you want in your own words in session one, and every session after that gets measured against it. Scope creep is how coaching turns into chat.

Homework you will actually do
Small, specific, and due before we speak again. One conversation to have, one paragraph to write, one number to go find out.

An end date on purpose
Coaching should make itself unnecessary. If you still need me in two years, one of us has done this wrong.

Training, hours and supervision.
Coaching is unregulated, which means the letters after a name matter less than the hours behind them. Both are listed here so you can judge for yourself.

Straight talk
What coaching is not.
Being clear about this up front saves everyone a wasted month. If what you need is on this list, say so on the call and I will point you at someone who does it properly.
It is not therapy
Coaching works forward from where you are now. If something older is in the way, I will say so early and help you find the right person for it.
It is not consulting
I do not write your strategy, rewrite your resume, or make the phone calls. You do the work; I make sure the work is the right work.
It is not a guarantee
Nobody can promise you a promotion. What you can count on is a clearer question, a real plan, and somebody who notices when you avoid it.
Confidentiality, plainly
What you say in a session stays in the session. If your employer is paying, they get themes and hours, never content, and you see anything I send them before I send it.
On video
Anywhere in the country, evenings and early mornings included. A private link comes with your confirmation, and nothing is recorded unless you ask for it.
In person
A quiet room in Silver Hollow, or a walking session if you think better on your feet. Also serving Ridgemont, Fair Harbor, Alder Grove, Kettle Falls.
